Safety of Women

TASC in association with The HYPERCITY Mall in Mumbai carried out a weekend Independence day initiative related to safety and self defence tips for Women

The message
“REDISCOVER INDEPENDENCE”
‘Freedom begins with leading a life without fear’

Tasc also ran the awareness campaign in Colleges like Sophia, Narsee Monjee, SNDT on simple tools and tips that can be used by Women for self defence

Further , towards the cause of safety for women, TASC generated awareness about the 24 hour women helpline numbers 1298 and 103 , and distributed copies of the helpline directory of NGOs that help women in distress, an initiative of Dr.Indu Shahani , the Hon’ble Sheriff of Mumbai and Principal of H.R College of Commerce and Economics..

The pocket size handout that was given to 5000 women to carry in their wallets
